Allow me to reintroduce myself. I'm Kevin Pedeaux, the owner of CR Coffee Shop.
If you've ever wondered who the guy in our videos is, now you know. CR Coffee Shop is named that to pay homage to Coast Roast Coffee, the roasting company I co-founded back in 2009 over in Long Beach, Mississippi. We're still roasting there today, and we still supply coffee to shops all over the New Orleans metro.
Here's the thing about Coast Roast the wholesale company: it roasts lots of different coffees for lots of different businesses, and it tailors each one to the way that business serves it. A restaurant looking for a coffee to pair with chocolate cake at the end of a meal gets a very different roast than what you'd want first thing in the morning with your newspaper. Different moment, different coffee.
For CR Coffee Shop, Coast Roast puts out the coffees that define our brand: that thick, rich, New Orleans-heavy flavor. Less acidity, bigger mouthfeel. And our iced coffee? It's super rich, super heavy, known as the thickest, richest, heaviest cold brew in the entire city. That's what CR stands for: high-end, thick, lovely coffee.
The first CR Coffee Shop opened inside St. Roch Market in 2015. Today there are four locations across the New Orleans metro, all serving coffee that's antique roasted and brewed fresh daily. Come see us.
