Our Coffee
Roasted on antique machines. Sourced through the Port of New Orleans.
Coast Roast Coffee was born in 2009 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Every batch is drum-roasted on 1910s Royal No. 6 roasters. These are the kind of machines that demand patience and reward attention. Kevin sources all green beans through the Port of New Orleans, keeping the supply chain as local as the coffee is personal.

All green beans are sourced through local importers at the Port of New Orleans, and we have direct relationships with coffee farms. This keeps the entire supply chain connected to the Gulf South.
How many locations do you have?
Four: Magazine Street (flagship), St. Roch Market, Old Metairie, and inside Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. See our locations page for addresses and hours.
Is CR Coffee locally owned?
Yes. CR Coffee Shop is locally owned and operated by Kevin Pedeaux, a New Orleans native. Coast Roast Coffee was co-founded by Kevin and Shawn Montella in 2009 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
What makes your coffee different from other New Orleans coffee shops?
