The Crescent Room at our Magazine Street flagship is available for private meetings, presentations, and small gatherings. Conference table, TV, WiFi, and complimentary Coast Roast coffee.

The Wall Street Journal included CR Coffee in a feature about the evolving coffee market and what rising wholesale prices mean for independent roasters and consumers.
The annual Champagne Stroll brings the Magazine Street community together for an evening of shopping, sipping, and neighborhood connection. CR Coffee is always part of it.
The Conscious Bar — 75% cacao dark chocolate, sweetened with organic dates, completely vegan. A guilt-free treat that pairs perfectly with Coast Roast French Roast.
Our famous — and controversial — spring seasonal drink. Cold brew stung with vanilla and a shot of orange juice. You might be surprised at how much you love it.
CR Coffee's third location is open at 603 and a half Metairie Road. Coast Roast coffee comes to Old Metairie with a cozy storefront and hand-painted window art.
Closed for Fat Tuesday — because even coffee shops need to celebrate Mardi Gras. The last king cakes of the season went out the door this morning.
Most of the coffee in your cup at CR Coffee traveled from the mountains of Honduras, through the Port of New Orleans, to the roastery on the Gulf Coast. Here is the journey.
One week after Hurricane Ida, CR Coffee reopened on generators. We do not fix roofs — we brew coffee. We were able, so we did. It was the most difficult and most personally rewarding thing we have ever done.
The Bayou Beast is a pandan iced latte with the fun feel of late summer. Originally called the Swamp Monster, we renamed it in 2025 after a cease and desist from Monster Energy. It has been on the menu since 2021.
Amanda Shaw performed a porch concert at our Magazine Street location to celebrate Give NOLA Day. Live music, Coast Roast coffee, and community — the New Orleans way.
CR Coffee served as headquarters for the Preservation Resource Center's Shotgun House Tour in 2020. Kevin and Ashley are PRC preservationists who restored their own shotgun house in Holy Cross.
From a pandemic opening to becoming the Garden District's favorite coffee spot — one year at 3618 Magazine Street.
The courtyard patio at our Magazine Street flagship is dog friendly. Good dogs deserve good coffee shops.
Kevin develops every Coast Roast blend himself. Here is the story behind the three signature blends you will find at CR Coffee: Streetcar, French Roast, and the Roch Blend.
The Roch Blend uses Nebraska-grown chicory and a medium roast — a fundamentally different experience from the bitter, heavy chicory blends most people associate with New Orleans.
3618 Magazine Street is open for business. The CR Coffee flagship in the Garden District features indoor seating, a courtyard patio, the Crescent Room event space, and a restored Victorian fireplace.
Restoring a Victorian shotgun house in the Garden District into a flagship coffee shop was not simple. Here is how the Magazine Street location came together.
Every Carnival season, CR Coffee partners with Nonna Randazzo's Bakery to bring king cakes to all locations. It is a New Orleans tradition — king cake and coffee, the official breakfast of Mardi Gras.
In fall 2016, CR Coffee set up a pop-up coffee shop at Imperial Woodpecker Snowballs on Magazine Street — serving Coast Roast coffee and Nonna Randazzo's king cakes through spring 2017.
Kevin Pedeaux co-founded Coast Roast Coffee in 2009. The roastery runs two antique Royal No. 6 drum roasters from the 1910s — machines that reach 420 to 430 degrees and produce coffee modern equipment cannot replicate.
In April 2015, Kevin and Ashley Pedeaux opened CR Coffee inside the historic St. Roch Market on St. Claude Avenue — joining the revitalized 1875 market building as one of its original anchor vendors.
