The Conscious Bar is a 75% cacao dark chocolate bar sweetened with organic dates and completely vegan. It joined the case at CR Coffee locations in late 2024 as a food option that actually pairs with serious coffee.
The chocolate is rich and dark without being bitter, and the date sweetener gives it a cleaner finish than refined sugar. At 75% cacao, it has enough intensity to stand up to a Coast Roast French Roast without disappearing — which is the whole point. Coffee and chocolate are natural partners, and this bar was chosen specifically because it does not compete with the coffee.
